If you're a service provider in the wedding industry looking for web design packages, you've probably noticed it's confusing as hell. Some designers have 17 different tiers with features you don't even understand, let alone need as a small business. Others just say "call for a custom quote" and make you book a call before you can even see starting prices. It's annoying and unrealistic. No one is booking a call in 2026 just to get a price range that should be publicly displayed. I don't make potential clients do that. I give options. If you want to book a call you can. But if you'd rather send a quick email first, or fill out a questionnaire instead because the thought of a Zoom call with a stranger is terrifying, I get it! No pressure at all.

I'll explain how my packages work, what's included, how to choose, and why working with me is way less headachey than most other designers.

The Problem With Most Web Design Packages

Most designers overcomplicate their packages for for wedding professionals and service providers by inlcuding and charging for a bunch of stuff you don't need. Because their packages aren't actually designed for you.

I'm experienced with running a few businesses (service-based and e-com), and I know exactly what your service-based website should and shouldn't have. My packages were designed for you.

I know a lot of new and existing businesses don't have it all figured out yet. And for me, the 'figuring out' is the best part! I love helping with that. Give me a problem to solve and you've made my day. Whether it's helping you narrow down your ideal client, setting your prices, or helping you pick the right colors perfectly reflect your personality.

What you don't necessarily need in a website package:

  • A million calls. A 'discovery' call, 'Strategy' call, 'Onboarding' call, 'Kick-off' call, 'check-in' calls, 'Offboarding' call... No one wants to do any that. If you hate the phone, I won't force you talk to me because I don't like the phone either. But I do make it easy to work with me, so whatever process that looks like for you, I'll accommodate. If you want calls, great. We can talk on the phone. If you don't, email, text, or chatting in your client portal all work too

  • Vague promises of a secret 'strategy' that doesn't even exist. There's no secret. There's not even really a 'strategy'. It's just clarity and good design. I make it easy for your potential clients to understand what you do, how you can help them, and make it easy to work with you. That's really it. That's my whole strategy

  • A 10-12 page website. No small business needs that many pages. I don't. I didn't with any of my past businesses. You don't. I mean if you want to pay me for 12 pages I'll happily provide them. But you 99% most likely don't need them

  • 3 months of 'ongoing support' you'll never use (because you hired a designer and aren't doing it yourself). I'll show you how to make necessary updates on your own and if you need more help, you can choose to hire me back at my hourly rate. I don't force you to pay for it up front

  • Fancy, flowery package names like "Grow Me', or "Elevate Me" (that explain none of what you'll actually get, and that sound so stupid you don't even want to book on principle alone). Can you tell this irks me?

  • I could actually list way more but I think you get it...

You need a website that functions, looks professional, displays your offerings, and sells your products and services. That's really it.

My Two Wix Packages (and How to Choose)

I offer two package options and one hourly option. Pick what fits your situation. Get what you actually need. Add on extras. If neither of those packages works, we can do hourly or I can create a package based on your needs.

How the Booking Process Works

I keep this simple because working with a designer to get a website shouldn't be difficult.

Step 1: Fill out my questionnaire or book a free intro call You can start with either. Or send a message on my contact form. Whatever works for you. The intro call is just an introduction and conversation about your project. No pressure, no sales pitch. Just to make sure we're aligned on expectations, and I'm a good fit for your project. If I'm not, I'll say so.

Step 2: I review your answers and project details and provide next steps I'll review your answers and current online presence to determine what you need and how I can help. If it's a good fit for me, I'll send you available project start dates and a quote for any optional extras if needed.

Step 3: Pay deposit and sign agreement When you're ready to proceed, I'll send an invoice and service agreement. Pay the 50% deposit, sign the agreement, and we'll schedule your project for my earliest availability.

Step 4: I'll send your client portal & onboarding Depending on your package, you'll either receive my guided content system to write your own content, or a questionnaire that helps me write it. Your client portal will include everything you need to keep track of project details, dates and prgress stages, communication, links for proofing your designs and a lot more.

Step 5: I design or redesign your site The Look Legit website package takes two weeks from the project start date. Sometimes less. The Kind Of A Big Deal package is three weeks. If you're getting a redesign, your current site stays live during the process so there's no downtime.

Step 6: You review and request changes

Two revision rounds are included if needed. You tell me what you want changed, I update it. If I disagree with the changes you want I'll explain why so you can make informed decisions. Ultimately, it's your website. But I want your website to do its job, so I'll always explain my 'why's.

Step 7: We launch Pay final 50% and your site goes live.

Why My Packages Work for Wedding Professionals

I've run a few service-based businesses over the years (16 years to be exact). I know what you need because I've been there. I'm still there.

You don't have months to wait Most designers take 6-8 weeks minimum per website build. I'll get your site done in 2-3 weeks (depending on package) because I want you to be ready to book clients as soon as possible. Not 4 months from now.

I won't make you do endless meetings or calls. But if you need them or want extra help, I'm available. I prefer written communication. Maybe a couple voice notes for extra clarification. I don't make you talk to me unnecessarily (unless you want to!). Some people like the phone, some don't. However you prefer to work, I'll accommodate. I'll keep your client portal current as a central place for updates and communication.

You need help with content but don't want to hire a copywriter My content system is included with the Look Legit package. It helps you write your own content so you don't have to pay for copywriting unless you want to. Then I edit and refine it to get it just right.

I include full copywriting with my Kind Of A Big Deal package.

You don't want to be stuck hiring me back for every update I include a PDF training guide and a live Wix training so you can make simple updates yourself. Change your about bio, swap a photo, update your pricing... it's all pretty easy once you know how.

You'll also get two weeks of email post-launch support. If you need more help, I'm available for an hourly rate. I also offer a monthly maintenance retainer option that includes two hours of updates per month.

You need straightforward pricing No confusing tiers. No surprise fees. You know exactly what you're paying up front. If you need a custom package I'd be happy to put something together for you.

How I Make This Easy and Non-Headachey

I work with service providers

Wedding planners, photographers, officiants, florists, cake decorators, mobile bars, makeup artists, virtual assistants, coaches, etc. I know what you need and I don't overcomplicate it.

I use Wix Classic Editor It's user-friendly, has all the features you need, and you won't have to learn code. After I hand off your site, you can easily manage your site yourself if you want to.

Your site stays live during redesigns I work off duplicated pages so your current site doesn't go down. No interruption to your business.

I provide resources

Content system, live or recorded training, tutorials and videos, post-launch support. You're not left figuring everything out on your own. Everything you need to know to edit your site is provided.

I'm not trying to upsell you

If you don't need 15 pages, I'm not going to try to convince you that you do. You pay for what you need. And no you don't need 15 pages (in case you were wondering).

Who This Is (and Isn't) For

My services are definitely for you if:

  • You're a new or established wedding vendor or service provider

  • You need a new website that makes you look like you know what you're doing, and don't want to wait half a year for it

  • You're embarrassed of your current site or it doesn't reflect the level you're at right now

  • You're willing to trust your designer to make expert design decisions

My services are probably not for you if:

  • You want a huge, complex website with custom coding, animations and movement in every section

  • You need a new ecommerce site with hundreds of physical products. I'm happy to redesign an existing Wix store that has products already live, but I no longer build new ones

  • If you need approvals from multiple people or take weeks to decide everything, this probably won't work. My design process is fast. And to remain fast, I need you to be fast too

  • If you want to control the design process or if you're not open to expert guidance on design, strategy and messaging decisions

I know what some of you are thinking – "If you're in Canada, why are you charging in US dollars?"

It's simple. I get way more inquiries from American businesses than Canadian ones. Canadians are used to seeing prices in US dollars. Converting it is normal for us. Everything we want to buy online is in US dollars. Americans are not used to Canadian dollars. They want to be billed in their own currency. So this way it's just way easier for everyone.

Ready to Stop Being Embarrassed of Your Website (or lack of one)?

I specialize in fixing outdated or DIY Wix websites, and building new premium websites for service-based businesses. If you're ready for an online presence that feels aligned with your brand and that you're proud to share, you can visit my Web Design Services page or get started by booking a call or filling out a short questionnaire.

If you're not sure if you should hire a designer or DIY, this blog post might interest you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do your Wix websites cost?

The Look Legit Website starts at $2995 USD for a new or redesigned Wix website with up to 6 pages, SEO (to help your website get visibility online) and written copy refinement. It's best for those who can write their own content with guidance, and don't need a logo. Copywriting, logo design or full branding can be added if needed.

If you need full branding and full copywriting, the Kind Of A Big Deal Package is $4595 USD. It also includes everything in Look Legit package.

Where are you located?

I'm based in Calgary, Canada. But I work with wedding professionals and service providers worldwide.

Can you redesign a website that's not on Wix?

While I don't work with other platforms, I'd be happy to design you a new website on Wix!

How long does a Wix redesign take?

Usually two weeks or less once the project starts. This includes time to help refine and structure your content, and also allows time for feedback and revisions.

How long does a new Wix website take?

For the Look Legit package, usually two weeks or less once the project starts. This includes time to help refine and structure your content, and also allows time for feedback and revisions. The Kind Of A Big Deal package, which includes full brand design and full copywriting, is up to 3 weeks.

How soon can you start?

Your project will be scheduled for my earliest availability, but most clients for the Look Legit package need at least 1-2 weeks to write, gather, and organize all their content for new websites. I collect the content prior to starting on the designing.

For redesigns, the current content might not all need to be updated, or you may already have content written, so I might be able to get started a bit sooner.

What exactly is the content system?

Great question! This is the comprehensive Notion system I built over the course of a year to help my clients with writing and organizing their site copy and visuals. It includes all the website sections, pages and components you'll need, like hero section, about page, service packages, writing headings, keywords, etc. You'll have instructions, expert tips, examples, fill-in-the blanks, image uploaders and writing sections for every part of your website, and so much more.

Can I edit my website myself after you redesign it?

Yes! With Wix, you'll be able to easily update text, images, colors, links and more on your own. I provide training and resources for learning to make edits yourself so you feel confident managing your site. If you'd rather have edits done for you, I offer hourly rates and a monthly retainer option.

What pages can I have?

You can choose what works for your business. Every website will have a Home page, and service providers will also have at least one page for Services/Pricing/Packages. Other common pages are About, Contact, Blog, and FAQ.

One-page websites will have everything as sections on their Home page, and the menu will link to the sections. I don't recommend one-page sites because they're harder to rank but I can still provide them if you want one. Pricing is the same for 1-6 pages.

What if I have a blog? Can it be one of my 6 pages?

Great Question! Blogs can be confusing. Yes, you can have a blog as one of your pages. Because the main blog page and the individual post page work together, I include both and count them as one. I can post one blog post for you from your provided content.

Can you write blog posts for me?

Yes I offer blog post writing. One post is $200 US for up to 1,500 words with one revision round. I include SEO (keywords, meta description, title tag, tags, image captions, image resizing, etc) to help your post get found online. If you need a stock image, I'll include one from Wix's free image library.
